MGM Grand Hotel and Casino is a huge entertainment complex opened in 1993. A bronze lion mascot at the front guards the four towers which are always radiating in the unmistakable green glow. The hotel has many amenities to chose from – spa and health club, gym, pools, golf, wedding chapel, day-care, airport check-in. The Las Vegas monorail is a very convenient and fast way to go to the other resorts in Vegas in no time – get the monorail to Sahara, Las Vegas Hilton, Imperial Palace, Caesars Palace or Paris Las Vegas. MGM Grand has 15 restaurants, eight of them signature restaurants, one of them hosted by Chef Joël Robuchon.

MGM Grand is also known for hosting championship boxing matches and music concerts. The newest entertainment in MGM Grands is KÀ by Cirque du Soleil with Show Times twice a day Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm.

Not to be missed is the Lion Habitat which is open daily from 11:00am - 10:00pm.

The rooms - MGM offers nine different types of rooms to choose from. You can get a room at the Grand tower for $89.99 per night or treat yourself with the Terrace Suite for $900.00 a night. The Grand Tower rooms are quite large (446 Sq. Ft. – 41 sq. m.) and have bathrooms with black and white imported Italian marble finish. The Terrace Suites are luxurious 1,300 sq. ft. (120 sq. m.) with 786-sq. ft. (73 sq. m.) outdoor patio. They are also equipped with whirlpool tub, offer splendid view and have two-story vaulted ceilings. The two-story Skylofts Penthouse Suites are the ultimate luxury and AAA 5-Diamond Award Winner. They feature private elevator, Personal Concierge, HDTV entertainment system, Airport pickup in Maybach 62 Limousine and preferred seating in the signature restaurants and KÀ Cirque du Soleil show.

Overall the MGM Grand has something for everyone, one of the biggest hotels in the world it has 4,204 rooms and 802 suites. MGM Grand even offers full day daycare service for its guests.

The Casino is one of the biggest in Vegas with the whooping number of 3,500 slot machines, 165 table games, Race & Sports Book and Poker room.
