New York City

New York City- The big Apple, the city that never sleeps... New York is a city where everybody has to go at some point of their life. Some love it, some hate it but still it is an unforgettable experience to walk through these loud and busy streets home of the concrete, steel and glass buildings. Manhattan, bordered by Hudson River from the west and East River from the east, is where your journey should start. New York offers a lot of attractions day and night – enjoy splendid views from Empire State Building at night, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, and sink in the neon bright night at Times Square or enjoy a stroll through Central park; all will be an unforgettable experience.

New York is the home of the most enduring symbol of America, the Statue of Liberty. Located in the New York Harbour, the place where the immigrant ships arrived, the statue is a powerful reminder that America is a land inhabited by immigrants. The copper silhouette of a woman who is holding a torch symbolizes liberty.

Situated in Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art presents over thirty exhibitions per year. The permanent exhibit showcases American decorative art, paintings and sculpture. In addition, the Met displays world art, collections of costumes, musical instruments, photographs, weaponry, and many others. The American Museum of Natural History boosts more than thirty million artefacts. The exhibition showcases opals and stibnites, geological specimen, fossils, extinct creatures, and many living species. The museum features a special collection of butterflies from around the world. The Museum of the American Indian offers a superb display of native artefacts collected by George Heye. The repatriation policy of the museum requires the return of any item to the Indian tribes, if proven that the object was illegally acquired. The Museo del Barrio displays a collection of Latin American and Spanish folk art. The exhibition features pre-Columbian art work and a collection of carved wooden saints. The building of the National Design Museum was constructed by the billionaire Andrew Carnegie. The collection focuses on design in the field of advertising, architecture, and shoe design.

The Financial District is the commercial nucleus of New York City. The area has been recovering since the 9/11 deadly attacks on the Twin Towers. Wall Street has been synonymous with money for centuries. In the 18th century, the wealthy citizens of New York lived here. The first bank institutions and the insurance companies were also established on Wall Street. The NYSE Educational Center will offer introductory film which informs of the stock price movement.

Visitors may head to Central Park when culture fatigue sets in. Central Park is known as one of the first large public parks in USA. The park was designed as a natural landscape where the city dwellers can shun from the busy life. The former swampy area was turned into a lively park of forests, lakes, and meadows. Multiple pedestrian passageways and small buildings contribute to the charm of Central Park. New York is the city of celebrated monuments, skyscrapers, high traffic, crowded shopping areas, historic districts, and modern residential neighbourhoods. Moreover, New York offers diverse cultural experience to locals and visitors.

After a day full of visiting the best New York has to offer, you'll be exhausted. The last thing you want is to stay in bad accommodations. It's worth it to stay in a beautiful New York hotel or resort. To be right in the center – stay in a Manhattan hotel.
