The only way to get to the liberty island is by using the Statue of liberty-Ellis island Ferry system. You can also enjoy the view of the island and statue from the top by using the liberty helicopter service provided. All visitors are permitted to visit the liberty island ground and the Ellis island immigration museum regardless of their selected ticket options.

Contact the Concierge at the hotel you are staying, they will help you map an easy and interesting tour of the city with some great historical stops. Perhaps, they can arrange to get tickets to a popular Broadway show like GREASE, with the newest starring cast members! There is so much to see, but caution many pickpockets around looking for unsuspecting tourists, so dress down, look like a local, don't wear jewelry or an expensive purse, keep wallet and money inside near your body! Be careful, be alert, and have fun.My favorite dinner place is Frankie & Johnnie's it's a local hangout before the shows, busy, great food, noisy, crowded, but typical of that type of restaurant. Most tourists never heard of it!
